The Space Shuttle; Flying For Me

One of the most fun projects we've worked on recently is the documentary "The Space Shuttle; Flying For Me".   Produced & directed by independent producer Tim Weeks, the film documents the dramatic story of the nation's famed space shuttle program through crew interviews and new and archival footage.  Jami Francescon provided color correction; Scott Long & Corinne Sousoulas provided DVD authoring.  Sousoulas also provided closed captions & sub-titles.  "The Space Shuttle; Flying For Me" is a production for APT and airs June 11 at 7pm on WNPT in Nashville.   Check PBS listings in your area for additional dates & times.

Forgiven Souls

Jami Francescon provided color correction on "Forgiven Souls" - the new feature film starring Gary Dourdan ("CSI", "Soul Food") Wendy Raquel Robinson ("The Steve Harvey Show") and Telma Hopkins (Tony Orlando and Dawn, "Are We There Yet").   The film is a series of coincidences and situations revealing how God can work in mysterious ways, and how our lives are interconnected with others, even when we don't realize it.  The characters find their way through dark times by the way they live their lives, the experiences they go through, and by learning from each other.

The film was shot on Red Epic, and Jami Francescon was the DI colorist.

The Mavericks - In Time

"The Mavericks - In Time" is a concert event named after the group’s recent album In Time, for PBS. The taping, produced by High Five Entertainment was held at Nashville’s Marathon Village in August. It will air on PBS in December.
Andy Kouris edited the concert, showcasing the band's polyrhythmic sound, and Jami Francescon put the finishing touches on the show, on-lining and color correcting.

DCP Services Now Available

Ground Zero now offers DCP Services including 4k DCPs.

A DCP, or a digital cinema package, is the collection of digital files used to store and convey digital cinema.  Most theaters now accept DCPs, and many require them for exhibition.    DCPs are becoming popular among film festivals as well.  It is becoming the ideal way to exhibit 4k feature films.
